Living in New England is wonderful, but it does not come without some challenges. I hope that all have weathered the recent storm that did a lot of damage and knocked out power to most people in the area for varying lengths of time. I know all the Brethren were out helping their neighbors cope with these challenges and helping our fellow human beings. I know I spent a less than restful night keeping watch over my worldly possessions and helping my neighbors with their needs. They are important, but how important are they really? If you value yourself based on your worldly possessions, I believe you have sold yourself short! That is one thing that Masonry recognizes: it is the internal, not the external values that Masonry regards; let us not forget that! If I lost all my external values, I would still be of the same internal value. We are all Brothers in the Fraternity because of out internal value; you should all be proud of that; don’t sell yourself short. You are a great group of individuals, and I am so proud of you all. You have and will continue to teach me and others values which stand out among men. I trust that all of you will do all you can to support the Fraternity and each other. Those internal values will serve you well; trust them and trust the Supreme Architect that you are right where you should be. I know it is trying at times, but it is true. You will never have more than you can handle; believe this and trust it! Fraternally, Michael Penney Master SECRETARIES MESSAGE We are in the process of starting an electronic Trestle Board.
